Series Description: The Book of Titus

In this Book of the Bible series, Chip Ingram unpacks the book of Titus. He challenges us to display the gospel in our lives through doing good. We do good works not to earn God’s favor, but as a result of God’s favor. When the gospel has truly taken root in our lives, it produces the fruit of godliness. As we pass these things on to future generations, the Church stands in bright contrast to the darkness of the world.

Series Description

At the end of the day, God is less concerned with what we do for Him than who we are in Him. Few figures illustrate that truth better than Jonah. Focused on the prophet rather than his prophecy, the story of Jonah gives us a picture of a man on the run due to his own selfish desires. Instead of showing mercy to his enemies, he determined to keep God's grace to himself rather than share it with those he considered undeserving. Can you relate?

Throughout each verse-by-verse session, pastor Eric Mason expands our vision to see that Jonah's story is our own. Far more than a thrilling Sunday school adventure, it offers a profound glimpse into the conflict that occurs when God calls resistant believers to His mission. More importantly, it underscores the depths of His compassion not only in redeeming the lost, but in redeeming those whom He has called to participate in His reconciling work.

So climb aboard & settle in as Eric reveals how God uses extraordinary circumstances to break our hearts of selfishness, convince us of His tender care & unite our lives to His glory.

GONE Weekend: Dinners & Feed the Hunger Pack-a-thon Service Project

September 30th - October 1st, 2017

$25

What is GONE Weekend?

At Renaissance, we feel that God has strategically placed us in our community for a purpose. It’s not by accident that we live where we live. God has called us to move into our community and our world with Good News. One of the many ways that we pursue our calling as a church is through Good of Our Neighbor Events (G.O.N.E.) that take place on Sunday mornings when Ren moves to serve our local community.

When is it?

Our next GONE event is Sunday, October 1st. We will be working with Feed the Hunger to pack meals at the Y for those in need. Last year, our families came together to pack thousands of meals, and we're hoping to do even more this year! Our GONE Neighborhood Dinners will meet the Saturday evening before, September 30th.

What are neighborhood dinner gatherings?

A vital part of our GONE events are the Saturday night neighborhood meals. This is a time for our people to come together, eat, pray, and prepare for serving on Sunday.

Who can serve at the Pack-a-thon?

This is a great way to serve as a family. All kids 5 years old and older are welcome to serve along side their parents. We will provide childcare for the little ones.

How can I support this project financially?

There is a cost associated with each meal we pack. We are asking each family to consider a $25 donation to help cover this cost.

Looking forward to serving along aside you and your family!

Come together with women from across the country & all walks of life for ABUNDANCE, a special 2-day event to explore the sufficiency generosity of Christ. Because at ABUNDANCE, we believe that, in Him, little is much, less is more, hardship is blessing, hurt is healed, and wrong is made right. We believe His love multiplies & His mercy is boundless. We know His grace is gratuitous & His forgiveness is excessive. We trust His kindness is generous & His faithfulness overflows. And we remember, in Him our lives can be abundant.
